George Michos CEO
George Michos is the CEO and has been an officer and Director since 1998. George Michos has been with Cottage Inn in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1995. As CEO, he is responsible for all aspects of the operations of our Cottage Inn Commissary. Our Commissary provides food and paper products to our corporate owned stores, our franchisees, and the original Cottage Inn Restaurant owned and operated by Cottage Inn, Inc. From 1993 through 1995, George was a sales representative for SOFO Foods, Inc. From 1990 through 1993, George was a student at Hope College and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in business in 1993.
Theo Michos CFO
Theo Michos is our CFO, and has been an officer, Director in Ann Arbor, Michigan since September 1998. Theo Michos is responsible for our financial operations and oversees all real estate owned and leased by Cottage Inn. From 1990 to the present, Theo has been self-employed in the construction business in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Theo obtained a Builder’s License from the State of Michigan in 1991, and has brought over sixteen (16) years of business management experience to our operations.
Scot Sloan COO
Scot Sloan is the Chief Operating Officer of Cottage Inn Carryout and Delivery. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, with bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Management. Scot spent seven years previously with Cottage Inn working in different capacities including Delivery Driver, Shift Manager, General Manager, and Operations Manager. After leaving Cottage Inn, Scot worked the next seventeen years in Sales and Operations with a print and digital advertising company. The last three years were spent with a Tier 1 automotive supplier running the Customer Service group as well as driving projects including process improvement, ERP transformation, and improving the customer experience.
Tom Carras VP of Franchise Relations
Mr. Carras joined the Cottage Inn family in 2006 bringing with him over 18 years of experience in the pizza delivery industry. He began his career in 1987 as a Store Manager for Dominos’ Pizza, Inc. and was later promoted to Corporate Area Supervisor and Senior Area Supervisor. In 1996, he began working corporately for Papa John’s Pizza and then became an operating partner with a multi-store Papa John’s franchisee three years later. In 2003, Tom joined the team at CiCi’s Pizza as an Area Supervisor. Mr. Carras works with the rest of the team in all facets of franchising including store development, employee training and day-to-day operations.
James Comiskey VP of Strategy and Business Intelligence
James joined Cottage Inn as an insider in 2002, James has moved through Cottage Inn as a Store Manager, Area Supervisor and joined the Cottage Inn Management office here in Ann Arbor in 2015. James has assisted with the roll out of Digital Marketing Initiatives and oversees major projects such as Website Development and contract development with major partners such as The University of Michigan Stadium.
